Connect Claude or ChatGPT to Verbu
Use Verbu straight from Claude, ChatGPT, or another AI assistant that supports MCP. Manage agents, review conversations, and edit call flows just by chatting.
Chat with your AI assistant, get work done in Verbu
Verbu can connect to Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI assistants that support the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Once connected, you can ask your assistant to look up an agent, walk through a call flow, or check how a conversation went, and it does the work in your Verbu workspace on your behalf.
How to connect
Takes about two minutes, once per assistant.
- 1
Open connector settings
In Claude, go to Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. In ChatGPT, open the connector settings for your account. Other MCP hosts have a similar option.
- 2
Add the Verbu address
Paste this as the connector URL:
https://api.verbu.com/api/mcp - 3
Sign in with your Verbu account
You'll be sent to app.verbu.com to sign in, the same account you already use for the Verbu dashboard.
- 4
Pick a workspace
Choose which Verbu workspace the assistant can work in. It only ever sees that one workspace.
- 5
Choose what to share
Tick the areas the assistant can access: agents, flows, conversations, or any combination.
- 6
Approve
Confirm the connection. Your assistant can now use Verbu, within what you approved.
What you can share
You choose the access when you connect, and you can change it any time by disconnecting and reconnecting.
Agents
See your agents, change them, and publish them. This also lets the assistant read the list of voices.
Flows
See your call flows, change how they work, and publish them.
Conversations
Read past calls and chats, and hide single conversations from your lists.
The assistant only reaches what you approved
The connection only ever reaches the workspace you picked, not your other workspaces. You approve every connection yourself on app.verbu.com, so before you sign in, check that the address bar really says app.verbu.com. Verbu stores your data in the EU and handles it under GDPR, the same as everywhere else in the product.
How to disconnect
Open your Verbu dashboard, go to Settings, then Connected apps, and choose Disconnect next to the assistant. It loses access straight away.
